The Nanjing Drama Festival raised the curtain recently. Compared with previous years, this year's Drama Festival has set up three major sections: the famous drama unit, the comedy unit and the youth unit. More than 20 theatrical performances have been introduced. The famous drama units are all familiar works, such as "Ordinary World" adapted from Lu Yao's novels of the same name; "The Island of Baodao" directed by Lai Shengchuan; "Rhinoceros in Love" known as "a generation of love bible"; Liao Zhai directed by Lin Yihua and starring Silvia Chang. The youth unit has enthralled the audience in both the main lineup and the form of the repertoire. The festival is held for the viewers to see something new, but more importantly, through this unit the festival shows the audience the local drama and support for the originality.
