The Jiangsu delegation to the first session of the 13th National People's Congress held a plenary meeting on March 11th to review the draft amendments to the constitution.
Lou Qinjian, head of the Jiangsu delegation, secretary of the provincial party committee, and chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, presided over the meeting.
Among the top provincial leaders attending the meeting were Wu Zhenglong, deputy head of the delegation, deputy secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Governor of Jiangsu, Jiang Zhuoqing, Wang Like and Chen Zhenning, deputy heads of the Jiangsu delegation.
All the deputies reviewed the draft amendment to the constitution, the draft decision on the establishment of sub-committees of the 13th National People's Congress, the draft voting method for directors, deputy directors and members of the subcommittees, as well as a candidate list of directors, vice directors and members of the subcommittees. All the deputies unanimously agreed with the voting draft, the draft decision, and the draft voting method.
The deputies also reviewed the candidates of the directors, vice directors and members of the constitution and law subcommittee and the finance and economics subcommittee.
