The Jiangsu members of the CPPCC National Committee joined deliberation on the government work report delivered Monday by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang at the opening meeting of the first session of the 13th National People's Congress at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, capital of China.
The CPPCC members believed that the fundamental reason why we have been able to promote historic changes and make historic achievements over the past five years lies in the firm leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core and with the scientific guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, adding that the report shows clearly the deployment and work of this year, implements the people-centered development idea and inspires people to make progress.
The CPPCC members said that under the guidance of the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, they should unite their ideas and hearts, pool their wisdom and strength and exert unique advantages in winning over the great journey of building a moderately prosperous society and realizing the Chinese dream.
