The inauguration of the trademark registration window Tuesday in Suqian marks the launch of the province’s fifth and the first of its kind in the northern regions of the province. The move will enable enterprises in Suqian and the surrounding cities to register their trademarks at home without taking the trouble to travel to Beijing for submitting the application. The trademark registration has received more than 200 applications for trademark and equity registration. In May last year, Suqian City formally submitted the application for the trademark registration window and was approved by the Trademark Office of SAIC at the end of that year.
