Top leaders of Jiangsu province met Thursday evening in Nanjing with the members from Hong Kong and Macao and specially invited delegates attending the first session of the 12th Provincial CPPCC.
Among the top leaders were Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Wu Zhenglong, deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Governor of Jiangsu, Jiang Dingzhi, chairman of the 11th Provincial Committee of CPPCC and Huang Lixin, deputy secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and executive vice governor of Jiangsu. Huang also serves as the executive chairperson and chair of the presidium of the first session of the 12th Provincial CPPCC
Huang Lixin extended a warm welcome to everyone on behalf of the provincial party committee and provincial people's congress, provincial government and provincial CPPCC.
Under the strong leadership of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, we should not forget where we get started, keep our mission firmly in the mind, make pioneering and innovative efforts, and work together to bring about a new CPPCC session in the new journey of the new era so as to better serve the high quality development, speed up the construction of new Jiangsu, and strive to realize the people's longing for a better life, Huang Lixin said.
She hoped the members from Hong Kong and Macao and specially invited delegates will support and participate in Jiangsu’s development as they always did in the past.
