Jiangsu media reported on Wednesday that according to statistics from Nanjing Public Bicycle, the number of public bicycles in Nanjing will reach 96,000 by the end of 2017. Nanjing will then become the city with the most widely available public bicycles in China.
After more than two years of development, the main city area of Nanjing has achieved full coverage with its bicycle-sharing system. Based on the number of delivered public bicycles, Nanjing has been at the front ranks in China. Next year, the city’s plan for public bicycles will be to focus on optimization in arrangement, ensuring a supply of bikes in key areas, such as subway entrances and exits where citizens travel.
