Senior information officials from China and ASEAN's six member states gathered in Suzhou of east China's Jiangsu Province on Tuesday for boosting practical media cooperation.
The China-ASEAN Member States Senior Information Officials Meeting, held by China's State Council Information Office has attracted officials from Cambodia, Indonesian, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines and Thailand.
They discussed details to increase information exchanges and media cooperation. The meeting will conclude on Wednesday, after the Information Ministerial Meeting.
A similar meeting was held in the Philippines in March 2016, between Information officials from China, Japan, S. Korea, and ASEAN member states.
