The 2017 Nanjing Creative Design Week kicked off at the 2017 International Creative City (Nanjing) Forum on Nov 20. Renowned designers from the US, UK, Netherlands, Italy and China attended the forum.
Patrik Schumacher, partner at Zaha Hadid Architects, delivered a speech titled "The City of Tomorrow" and specifically described the connection between Zaha Hadid's design of Nanjing Youth Olympic Center and the development of urban planning in Nanjing.
Roberto Bannura, director at Steven Holl Architects Beijing, Peter Dixon, global creative director of Prophet, Marta Pozo, director of MVRDV Asia and other renowned designers discussed the overall development of Nanjing and creative design ideas based on the world's classic architectural design cases.
