NDRC holds press conference on macro-economic situations

  The National Development and Reform Commission, Chinas top economic planner, held a press conference Wednesday to issue macro-economic performance and respond to hot issues.

  From October 30 to November 30 this year, the National Development and Reform Commission and other government authorities launched a joint nationwide inspection on the commercial housing sales prices, according to Meng Wei, spokesperson of the National Development and Reform Commission.

  The relevant departments shall take serious care of the problems found in the inspection, and inform the society in a timely manner, Meng said at the press conference.

  The National Development and Reform Commission has made arrangement to supervise the price of coal market during the winter period, Meng said. Based on the most recent feedback, the coal market price is basically stable with an overall good order.

  According to Meng, the national credit information sharing platform has collected more than 10.7 billion pieces of information, connecting 42 ministries, all the provinces and municipalities and 50 market supervision institutions. The platform has also formed a linkage with the national population database in terms of information verification and superposition to give rise to a credit information database and personal credit information database for corporate and non-corporate.

  The construction of a social credit system in e-commerce has been further strengthened with the "blacklist" and early warning report issued for the double eleven shopping carnival.

  The use of electricity across the country totaled 5.2 trillion kilowatt hours between January and October, up 6.7% from a year earlier. The growth pace is 1.9 percentage points faster from the same period of last year. The secondary industry is the primary force that drove the increase of electricity use and the hydropower continued to surge in October.
