Lou Qinjian, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, went on an inspection tour Tuesday to relevant departments of the provincial party committee.
During his inspection tour, Lou stressed the importance of studying and implementing the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress, adding that it is a matter of top priority for party organizations and officials across the province.
In his first leg of the tour, Lou visited the distance education center of the organization department of the provincial CPC committee where he watched the video demonstration of the Jiangsu pioneers network. In the live broadcast studio, e also had a cordial talk with two deputies to the 19th CPC national congress to learn about the views of the masses on party building.
Lou, who was appointed chief of the CPC Jiangsu provincial committee, encouraged the deputies to take the lead in the study and implementation of the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and follow the instructions of the party and play a key role at critical moments.
During his visit to the Provincial Committee of Political and Legislative Affairs, Lou was briefed on the law and order in Jiangsu, reiterating that it is a matter of topmost urgency to maintain social stability and harmony in a bid to achieve the goals set forth by the 19th CPC National Congress.
He also emphasized the importance of strengthening the bottom line thinking in the political and legal affairs by studying the problems that may affect the social harmony and stability with prior study and countermeasures.
The CPC chief also visited the provincial department of publicity where he was briefed on the public opinion monitoring and the provincial platform for Internet-based publicity and information management, stressing the importance of cyber security and the improvement of a full range of online public opinion monitoring system to come up with a preferred public opinion environment.
Lou Qinjian concluded his inspection tour by emphasizing the importance of carrying out the new requirements of the 19th CPC National Congress on strict governance of the party and creating a good political environment and a strong entrepreneurial atmosphere for the party members and cadres to stimulate the innovation vitality among the party members and cadres.
Lou Qinjian, who was formerly secretary of the Shanxi Provincial Committee, was appointed Monday as the Party chief of east China's Jiangsu Province, replacing Li Qiang, who has been appointed as the secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, according to a decision of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.
