The 32nd meeting of the standing committee of the 12th Jiangsu provincial people's congress wrapped up in Nanjing on the afternoon of September 24 after reviewing all the items on the agenda. Li Qiang, secretary of CPC Jiangsu Committee and director of the standing committee of provincial people's congress, chaired and addressed the meeting.
The meeting passed the Jiangsu Riverway Management Regulations, Decision of the Standing Committee of Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress on the Distribution and Election of Deputies of the 13th People's Congress, and Report of the Deputy Qualification Review Committee of the Standing Committee of the 12th Provincial People's Congress on the Qualification of Some Deputies, and approved five regulations submitted by Nantong and other cities. The meeting also passed decisions on personnel appointment. Li Qiang conferred the letter of appointment, and the appointees took the oath in front of the Constitution.
