The 32nd meeting of the standing committee of the 12th Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress kicked off in Nanjing on the morning of Sept 21.
Li Qiang, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu committee and director of the standing committee, chaired the first plenum session which passed the draft agenda of the meeting. Lyu Zhenlin, secretary general of the standing committee, reported to the meeting.
On behalf of the provincial government, Lan Shaomin, vice-governor of Jiangsu province, made a report on the progress of medical care system reform; Zhu Xiaoming, director of the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission, reported on the progress on the supply-side structural reform; and Liu Hua reported on the judicial system reform on behalf of the provincial procuratorate. Relevant committees in the congress also submitted work reports to the meeting.
