East China’s Jiangsu province has boosted the intensified use of industrial land to take the lead in the country, according to a national working conference on land use management held in SuzhouWednesday.
In the field of industrial land supply, Jiangsu has made exploration on the combination of land use through flexible transfer, long-term leasing and rent before concessions to further improve the efficiency of industrial land use.
At present, the province has 168 cases of industrial land involving 622 hectares of industrial land use through flexible transfer methods.
Jiangsu has also acted in accordance with the unified deployment of the provincial government to carry out on-site investigation on the disposal of idle land. Up to now, the province has disposed of 4103.37 hectares of unused land with 19046.2 hectares of land set aside for further use.
In the meantime, Jiangsu has made full use of urban underground space resources to tackle insufficient supply of urban land, traffic congestion, environmental degradation and other problems in the process of urbanization through open allocation, public transfer and agreement-based transfer.
In 2016, the province’s GDP per construction land area reached 219,700 yuan per mu, up 6.77% from a year ago while the GDP per unit construction land reached 455.25 mu per billion yuan, down 6.34% from a year ago.
