Li Qiang, secretary of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, met Wednesday morning in Nanjing with a youth cadres delegation with Cambodia’s ruling party the People’s Party.
Li Qiang extended his warm welcome to the Cambodian guests for their visit to Jiangsu before briefing them on the social and economic development in Jiangsu.
Li noted that Cambodia is an important cooperative partners of Jiangsu and Jiangsu has enjoyed close exchange and cooperation with Cambodia in trade, tourism, industrial park construction, twinning city relationship, education and healthcare.
The CPC chief also remarked that the relationship between China and Cambodia has entered a new stage of development so that both sides should seize the advantageous opportunities to further deepen the exchange and cooperation in various fields such as party building, education and healthcare.
He hoped that the Cambodian delegate will benefit from Jiangsu’s experience in attracting international capital and multinational companies to better serve the interest of the people on both sides.
Hun Many, head of the Cambodian youth cadres delegation, spoke highly of the concepts and practices for stage governance proposed by the Communist Party of China.
Hun Many, who is chairman of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia, also expressed his admiration towards the achievementsJiangsu has made in the promotion of social and economic progress.
He hoped that the Cambodian delegation will learn from China’s experiences and practices in party building and promote the deepening exchange and cooperation in economy, education and tourism.
The Cambodian official also expresses his sincere wish that more Cambodian youth will come to Jiangsu for study and exchange so as to enhance the traditional friendship between the two countries.
