The Jiangsu delegation to the ongoing annual session of the National People’s Congress joined in a panel discussion of the government work report delivered by Premier Li Keqiang on March 5 in Beijing.
Xin Changxing, head of the Jiangsu delegation, presided over the meeting, and Xu Kunlin, Chu Yonghong, Ma Xin and Fan Jinlong, deputy heads of the delegation, attended the panel discussion. The heads of the relevant ministries and commissions attended the deliberation.

Efforts should be made to enhance political stance, gain insight into the decisive significance that the Party has established Comrade Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in the Party as a whole and defined the guiding role of the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era from the political height of strengthening the four consciousnesses and the four self-confidences, safeguarding the authority of the CPC Central Committee and getting united around the centralized and unified leadership the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core, said the NPC deputies.
The lawmakers believed that Premier Li Keqiang's report on the work of the government fully implements the Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, summarizes the achievements, seeks truth from facts, and has clear objectives for the deployment of work by depicting a magnificent blueprint for high-quality development in the next five years, making it a good report that holds high the banner, demonstrate realistic and pragmatic demeanor, and carries forward the future.
The speeches of Xu Kunlin, Liu Qing, Shan Zenghai, Wei Qiao, Zhang Dadong and Wu Qingwen focused on giving play to the advantages of talent gathering, vigorously promoting regional collaborative innovation, adhering to the innovation driven path, promoting the integration of data and reality, and unswervingly climbing to the peak of manufacturing industry so as to become a good pacesetter in the construction of the Chinese path to modernization.
