The Developer Conference of the Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Integration Demonstration Zone was held Thursday in Wujiang District, Suzhou City.
Wu Zhenglong, governor of Jiangsu Province, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Fan Jinlong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor, presided over the meeting.

He said that at the important moment when the whole party and the people of the whole country are promoting the study of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech on July 1 and start the new journey of building socialist modernization in an all-round way, it is of great significance for the provincial leaders to gather in Wujiang District of Suzhou City in the beautiful Yangtze River Delta and negotiating the development plan of the demonstration zone by centering on the theme of "cross-domain integration, innovation and progress" and showing the development achievements of the Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone.
Wu Zhenglong pointed out that the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta is a major strategy personally advocated, planned, deployed, and promoted by General Secretary Xi Jinping.
He called for the implementation of the national "Planning Outline" and the deployment of the leading group meeting for the promotion of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, and vigorously promote the implementation of a number of major platforms, major projects, and major reform tasks, and continue to expand cooperation areas, enrich the content of cooperation, improve the level of cooperation, and contribute to the promotion of higher-quality integrated development in the Yangtze River Delta.
The governor said the Yangtze River Delta Eco-Green Integrated Development Demonstration Zone is the first move and a breakthrough point for the implementation of the Yangtze River Delta integrated development strategy and Wujiang is an important part of the demonstration zone entrusted with heavy responsibilities and arduous tasks.
We will ensure full and accurate implementation of the new development concept, accelerate the construction of the Wujiang sub-zone in strict accordance with the plan of the demonstration zone, strive to explore new paths for cross-administrative joint construction and sharing, ecological civilization and economic and social development, and strive to create a new benchmark for the transformation of ecological advantages, the governor said.

Inaugurated at the conference were the Yangtze River Delta Institute for Sustainable Development, the Yangtze River Delta Smart Oasis of Zhejiang University, and the Jiangsu Branch of the China Industrial Internet Research Institute.
The Three Gorges Group and other developer alliance units issued green and low-carbon development initiatives in the demonstration zone.
