East China’s Jiangsu province has revved up the construction of major investment projects so as to ensure the fulfillment of this year’s goals for social and economic development.
The centralized control room of Zhenjiang Gas Thermal Power Co., Ltd. has passed a 168-hour full-load trial operation, marking that the first set of the Zhenjiang gas turbine cogeneration project has shifted from the infrastructure debugging stage to the commercial operation stage.
The Zhenjiang Gas Turbine Cogeneration Project, located in the High-tech Industrial Park of Dantu District, Zhenjiang City, is a key construction project of the provincial, municipal and district governments.
Its core power generation equipment, the gas turbine, has a single-unit capacity of 500 MW, which is currently the largest single-unit capacity, the most advanced technology and the most efficient industrial heavy-duty gas turbine among domestic F-class gas turbines.

When put into operation
the unit will provide strong support
for Zhenjiang's electricity and gas consumption
and also provide a basic facility construction
for Zhenjiang's investment promotion
The project will consume approximately 985 million cubic meters of natural gas annually, generate approximately 5.5 billion kilowatt-hours of power, and is expected to achieve an annual tax of approximately 300 million yuan.
At the same time, as a clean energy project, the project will cut back on standard coal consumption by about 643.3 thousand tons per year through the integration and replacement of surrounding coal-fired boilers, greatly slashing air pollutant emissions, which is of great significance to the construction of ecological civilization and low-carbon city in Zhenjiang.
Changzhou Xingyuan Material, after two years of construction, has put into production its entire production lines and will further expand investment within the year to build the world's largest super coating factory.

Xingyuan Material is one of the few domestic companies that have both dry and wet preparation technology and production lines for lithium-ion battery separators. Its products are widely used in electric vehicles, power tools, energy storage and other fields.
The Changzhou base will increase investment and will build the world's largest super coating plant within this year in a bid to double its production capacity by 2025.
