An intelligent project on wheat harvesting developed by Jiangsu Land Reclamation Group has been listed as the top ten leading agricultural technology projects in 2019 by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs
Guided by the Beidou navigation system, many unmanned harvesters were working in high gear in the fields of Linhai Farm of Jiangsu Land Reclamation Group.
As the key link of the intelligent wheat harvesting technology, the unmanned harvesting project is developed by Jiangsu Land Reclamation Group and Nanjing Agricultural University with the sponsorship of Nanjing Agricultural Mechanization Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and other scientific research institutions.
Through the effective integration and seamless connection of wheat field information perception, wheat prescription design, operation path planning, intelligent navigation and unmanned operation, the project can realize the quantification and intelligence of key operations in wheat sowing, fertilization, spraying, irrigation, and harvesting management, enabling it to keep abreast of the international standards.
