The Nanjing-Suzhou Quantum Trunk, the first quantum security communication network in Jiangsu, was put into operation after undergoing the acceptance test in Suzhou on Tuesday. Unlike traditional means of communication, quantum communication distinguishes itself with the ability to prevent interception and eavesdropping to form the highest level of security secrecy. After the opening of the 578-kilometer quantum trunk line, the confidential, secret, financial, telecommunication departments or enterprises from Nanjing to Shanghai will have access to highly dedicated data security services.
