Tolls and lockage fees will be waived for freight trains, container trucks and ships traveling from central Asia to Suzhou, Nanjing, Xuzhou, Nantong and Lianyungang along the Eurasian continental bridge, according to a notice jointly issued by the Provincial Transport Department, the Provincial Finance Department and Provincial Price Bureau on Thursday. The new regulation will be effective between January 1, 2018 and December 31, 2020.the move is expected to further reduce the brick-and-mortar enterprise's logistics cost and strengthen the role of logistics backup to the export-oriented economy.
