A National Jadeware Quality Supervision and Inspection Center has been launched in Yangzhou city, Jiangsu province. Sponsored by Yangzhou Quality Inspection Department, the center has enabled Yangzhou to become the fourth city in the country and the first city in Jiangsu to be awarded the qualification for Jade products by the National Quality Inspection Center.
The National Jadeware Quality Inspection Center has been equipped with more than 100 sets of large-scale equipment such as microscopes, infrared spectrometer, X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. a scanning electron microscope has also been introduced at a cost of more than 3 million yuan for precise analysis of the composition of jade products.
The center is also equipped with a team of jade quality inspection experts with the senior titles to give full play to its inspection ability in jade grading, diamond grading and precious metal jewelry purity grading and promote the development of the jewelry and jade industry in Yangzhou and the province at large.
