East China’s Jiangsu province doled out New Year gift packages to the people at the grassroots level on the first day of the New Year. Let’s take a close look.
The Yuqin Bridge and the Yuzan Bridge, which cross the west and north of Hexin Island of Kunshan city, have recently opened, enabling nearby residents to enter Tinglin Garden and Liuhui Park for sightseeing more conveniently.
“Previously, when traveling through these two parks, we could only walk an additional two to three kilometers from Lingjia Road to Ma'anshan Road. The opening of the bridge makes it very convenient for us to travel,” said Wu Qiang, a citizen of Kunshan.
The Hexin Island, surrounded by water on all sides, is a crucial link connecting the Riverside Green way in Kunshan and surrounding areas. The opening of cross river bridges has connected roads, making it more convenient for people to travel and exercise. At the same time, the two bridges also enhance the system accessibility of the riverside green way in the central urban area.
Yangzhou has recently opened its first hydrogen-powered public transportation demonstration line, injecting "green energy" into urban development. The first hydrogen-powered bus demonstration line passes through several main urban roads. Hydrogen-powered buses are pollution-free, have zero emissions, have a long range, and exhibit excellent vehicle durability, economy, and some other indicators.
“The hydrogen-powered bus can carry a maximum of 93 people, with a particularly wide passage and excellent safety factor,” said Pan Yongchang, Senior Engineer at Yangzhou Yaxing Bus Co., Ltd. Automotive Research Institute
Yangzhou now registers 1885 registered new energy and clean energy buses, accounting for 92.5% of the city's total buses, and reducing carbon emissions by over 6000 tons annually.
The county-level city of Dongtai recently delivered a resettlement community by giving the key to the new homes to 301 households.
