East China’s Jiangsu province has stepped up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to fulfill goals for social and economic development. JSBC has the story.

Since the beginning of the fourth quarter, China National Offshore Oil Corporation's "Green Energy Port" in Yancheng, a major provincial project, has made every effort to promote the construction progress of the first phase expansion project.

In the central control room, the workers were monitoring the operation of equipment and the transportation of gas and liquid in real-time through the central control system.

At the project construction site, the workers were accelerating the installation of supporting pipelines.

“As of now, we have completed 94.6% of the overall project and are currently installing supporting pipelines for the storage tank. We plan to complete the mechanical completion of the 9th tank by December,” said Ren Jianxun, Manager of the Phase I Expansion Project of China National Offshore Oil Corporation's Yancheng "Green Energy Port".

The "Green Energy Port" of CNOOC Yancheng is included in the national key planning project for natural gas production, supply, storage, and sales, as well as the key engineering project for national oil and gas infrastructure.

The annual processing capacity of its first phase project can reach 6 million tons, which is of great significance for optimizing energy structure, protecting ecological environment, ensuring national energy security, and accelerating the green and low-carbon transformation of East China.

The 200GW photovoltaic module junction box project located in Taizhou New Energy Industrial Park has been rapidly advancing since its construction began in September this year.

At the construction site of the project, the first factory building and dormitory building have already taken shape. The workers are carrying out the construction according to plan.

“We plan to cap the roof by the end of December. Equipment installation will begin after the Spring Festival. The first phase of the project will be completed in June next year and production will begin in early July,” said Pan Wei, Head of Project Construction.

With a total planned investment of 3 billion yuan for the construction of over 150 thousand square meters of factory building, the project will become the world's largest production base for photovoltaic module junction boxes.
