East China’s Jiangsu province is making the final spurt to fulfill the annual tasks for economic and social development. JSBC has the story.
The workers of Jiangsu Kaisheng New Materials Company, located in the Suqian Port Industrial Park on the Grand Canal, are working hard to achieve the annual production goals.
With a total planned investment of 11 billion yuan, this project is currently the largest single production line glass furnace project in the world that will build four photovoltaic glass production lines with a daily output of 1200 tons and 24 supporting deep processing production lines, with an expected annual output value of 10 billion yuan.
“Since the start of construction in September, in just over two months, we have produced a production value of 140 million by completing 90% of the projects with the help of 820 workers and 89 machines of various sizes,” said Ning Xiaofei, Chief Engineer of Jiangsu Kaisheng New Materials Project.
The photovoltaic new energy industry, which has been pinpointed as one of the six leading industries in Suqian for key cultivation, has become an important pillar supporting the development of local industries.
Taizhou Dingfeng Oil and Chemical Co., Ltd. has completed the second phase of the main project. With an expected annual production capacity of 1 million tons, this project is currently the largest and highest specification integrated foreign investment project in the oil and fat industry in China.
The construction team completed the prefabrication of box beams and slab beams 20 days in advance for the Xuwei to Guanyun section of the Lianyungang-Suqian Expressway, laying the foundation for early opening to traffic.
“In the next step, we will continue to install the box girder to ensure the completion of the annual construction tasks. At the same time, we will also ensure the commencement of the second phase of construction,” said Yu Zhilong, Head of the Office for Lianyungang-Suqian Expressway Construction.
