Since the beginning of this year, Jiangsu has continuously implemented the action of strengthening intellectual property rights protection by cultivating a group of intellectual property enterprises with strong technological innovation, brand influence, market competitiveness, and industry driving force so as to have injected new vitality into high-quality development.
Lianyungang-based Sinopep-Allsino Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd.is included in the national list of intellectual property advantage enterprise for the year 2023.
As a leading enterprise in the field of peptides in China, Sinopep-Allsino Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has continued to focus on innovative drug research and development, with over 70 effective patents and more than 30 patents converted and applied to specific products, making intellectual property rights one of its most valuable assets.

In the latest list of national intellectual property demonstration enterprises for the year 2023, 71 Jiangsu-base enterprises were approved, adding to a total of 272, ranking first in the country.
Boasting strong innovation vitality, multiple intellectual property achievements, and excellent development quality, these intellectual property protection demonstration enterprises reported average R&D investment of 260 million yuan and net profit growth rate by 47.65% in 2022. As of July 2023, these demonstration enterprises reported an average of 131 invention patents.
“We have provided systematic empowerment to help enterprises forge the core of intellectual property rights, based on the development level of the enterprise, and tailor policies accordingly. In terms of training enterprise intellectual property engineers, conducting patent navigation, and providing intellectual property rights protection assistance services, we aim to transform technology intensive enterprises into intellectual property intensive enterprises,” said Ding Lan, Director of the Industry Promotion Department of Jiangsu Provincial Intellectual Property Office.
The latest data shows that from January to October, Jiangsu recorded a total of 86480 invention patent authorizations, a year-on-year increase of 17.20%, accounting for 23.27% of the total patent authorizations in the province, an increase of 7.45 percentage points from the same period of last year.
As of the end of October, Jiangsu recorded a total of 4.7058 million patent authorizations, accounting for 13.59% of the national total, ranking second in the country.
