Jiangsu Iron Anchor Technology Co., Ltd., which is engaged in the production of special safety glass, has decided to strengthen laboratory construction and explore more product types in the face of the development bottleneck of saturated orders in the domestic high-speed rail industry.
Under the guidance of the government, the company has collaborated with universities and research institutes in the Yangtze River Delta region to establish a key laboratory for new materials, which has conquered key technologies in the production of new materials related to aviation, high-speed rail, and other transportation systems.
“Our laboratory has reached partnerships with 6 universities and companies, including Jiangsu University, Nanjing University of Science and Technology, COMAC, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Shanghai Silicate Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. We are building and applying for the State Key Laboratory,” said Wu Benlian, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Iron Anchor Technology Co., Ltd.
As the only city in the northern wing of the Yangtze River Delta in the "1+8" metropolitan area of Shanghai, Nantong will take the construction of an important pivot for the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta as the starting point by proposing the idea of jointly building the Yangtze River Estuary Industrial Innovation Collaborative Zone. The plan is to deeply connect with Shanghai in terms of industrial collaboration innovation, business environment, and public service soft power improvement, and integrate into southern Jiangsu in a wide range of fields to jointly create a world-class industrial cluster with international competitiveness. As a result, Nantong is making greater efforts to promote the deep integration of the industrial chain, innovation chain, and talent chain so as to go all out to promote cooperation across the Yangtze River.
