Hengli Group, Shenghong Holdings Group, and Shagang Group are among the top three of Jiangsu's top 100 enterprises, according to the 2023 Jiangsu Top 100 Enterprises in Revenue, Manufacturing, and Service Industry released by the Jiangsu Enterprise Federation on Tuesday.
The threshold for Jiangsu's Top 100 Enterprises to be shortlisted is 29.712 billion yuan, with 19 state-owned enterprises on the list and 15 enterprises recording operating income of over 100 billion yuan.
23 companies from Wuxi and Suzhou respectively were shortlisted, ranking among the top. Suzhou reported three more companies from the previous year. 65 manufacturing enterprises were shortlisted, an increase of 3 from the previous year. The operating revenue of manufacturing enterprises in the top 100 accounted for 73.15% of the total operating revenue, an increase of 5.64 percentage points from the previous year.
The top 100 manufacturing enterprises recorded an average operating income of 58.887 billion yuan, an increase of 3.661 billion yuan from the previous year.
The entry threshold for the top 100 enterprises is 9.103 billion yuan, an increase of 637 million yuan from the previous year.
The top 100 enterprises recorded 99.016 billion yuan in research and development investment, an increase of 11.65%.
The average operating income of the top 100 service industry enterprises reached 21.996 billion yuan, with a total of 521 thousand employees, an increase of 2.88%.
