East China’s Jiangsu province will accelerate the transformation and upgrading of intelligent and green grain-drying capabilities so as to provide solid equipment and technological support for the comprehensive consolidation of grain security as the foundation.
Jiangsu will comprehensively consider factors such as geographical location, market demand, disaster prevention and reduction needs, and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of grain drying, as well as the intelligence and green level of grain drying.
Efforts will be made to give full play to the new agricultural service providers and grain processing enterprises in various regions, and accelerate the construction of a grain drying system with drying centers as the main body and mobile drying households as supplements.
The province will encourage various regions to develop new heat sources and clean energy drying models, innovate and utilize new integrated technologies for grain drying and storage, including natural air and solar energy, encourage relevant entities to purchase new intelligent grain drying equipment, and achieve online perception of drying operation service information and fine production control.
Jiangsu will also continue to enhance its socialized service capabilities for grain drying, explore new models and formats of networked shared drying socialized services, and enhance its emergency support capabilities for grain drying. By 2025, the province will build 7200 grain drying centers, increasing the drying capacity of grain producing areas to over 92%, basically meeting the demand for grain drying.
