The "Huaxi 1600" self-elevating offshore wind power installation platform invested and constructed by Jiangsu Huaxi Offshore Engineering was delivered in Qingdao on Thursday to give a strong impetus to the construction of offshore wind power facilities. JSBC has the story.
The "Huaxi 1600" self-elevating wind power installation platform, with a length of 136 meters and a width of 50 meters, consists of a hull, 4 sets of pile legs, pile shoes, and a lifting system.
The main crane has a lifting capacity of 1600 tons and the auxiliary crane has a lifting capacity of 250 tons. Being fully electric driven with DP-2 level dynamic positioning capability, it has become one of the highest wind power installation platforms in China with the highest main crane height and a maximum operating depth of 70 meters.
This platform is a self-propelled and self-elevating wind power installation platform independently developed and designed by China, with fully independent intellectual property rights. With multiple performance indicators ranking the world's leading level, it can meet the needs of integrated offshore wind power construction operations in deep and distant seas, greatly enhancing China's offshore wind power construction capabilities.
