Jiangsu began constructing on Wednesday the Taizhou section of the Shanghai-Chongqing-Chengdu North Yangtze River high-speed railway, the Nantong-Taizhou-Yangzhou Grand Bridge, and the continuous beam of the Rugao-Taixing Canal.
Three concrete trucks were continuously pumping concrete upwards. The 345.8-meter-long bridge, the largest continuous beam arch on the entire line, is expected to be completed by July next year.
Nantong has launched the implementation of the Yangtze River Porpoise Bay project to create a Yangtze River ecological protection section along the section of the Yangtze River in Nantong and build a Porpoise Culture Science Popularization Research and Tourism Base.
