East China’s Jiangsu province kicked off a job fair recently in Nanjing for college graduates in response to the nationwide employment campaign hosted by the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce.
246 employers provided 871 job vacancies to recruit nearly 10000 job seekers in finance, manufacturing, and business services. Nearly 70% of them are private enterprises. Well-known enterprises provide excellent positions, attracting a large number of graduates.
“I hope to find a job in a bank, securities, or fund company and also consider choosing state-owned or private enterprises,” said Dai Zhanxin, Fresh Graduate of Nanjing University of Finance and Economics.
Private enterprises are the main channel for employment. The Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce has organized chambers of commerce, enterprises, and universities every year to provide more employment opportunities for college graduates.
Since May this year, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security have held 8 job fairs, with over 1300 private enterprises providing 37000 job vacancies and attracting over 23000 fresh graduates. About 4000 fresh graduates have reached employment intentions.
