In the rice fields, five agricultural machinery operators were operating harvesters to harvest rice ears. The stripped rice was loaded into a truck through a machine. The driver who received the order quickly transported a truck of rice to the production and processing base of the Suzhou Taihu Lake Modern Agricultural Demonstration Park. After drying, screening, rice milling, and polishing processes, the Jiangnan-flavor rice is packaged into bags, and a series of processes can be completed in one and a half days. This improvement is thanks to the digital intelligence platform built by Inspur Cloud Island Company.

“We assist the entire factory chain in data connectivity, data fusion, and decision-making assistance. Through the concept of this new molecular model, we can use the thinking of industrial internet to upgrade agriculture,” said Shang Guangyong, Chief Technology Officer and Deputy General Manager of Inspur Cloud Island Industrial Internet Co., Ltd.

Last year, the Taihu Lake Modern Agricultural Demonstration Park, with the help of Inspur Yunzhou Company, built a digital and intelligent platform for rice industry to help field operators clearly see the basic situation of rice drying, make corresponding adjustments, and improve order collaboration and production efficiency.

This platform can also integrate relevant data into the digital intelligence platform, facilitating data fusion and centralized governance for enterprises, and better implementing quality control standards. After nearly a year of official operation, the platform has effectively helped the Taihu Lake Agricultural Demonstration Park improve order production efficiency by 30%, and comprehensively reduce costs and increase efficiency by 20%.
