From January to August, Jiangsu operated 1504 China-Europe freight trains, a year-on-year increase of 13.8%. In August, the province operated 214 China-Europe freight trains, setting a new historical high.
Lianyungang has operated 91 China-Europe express trains, setting a new monthly high since 2015.
Since the beginning of this year, Jiangsu has focused on serving the local economy and promoting high-quality development by continuously meeting the needs of local economy and industrial development, ensuring the export of products and the import of high-quality production raw materials, and filling the gaps in the industrial and supply chains.
According to customs statistics, from January to July, Jiangsu transported goods worth 18.716 billion yuan through the China Europe freight train, a year-on-year increase of 15.5%.
