Since the beginning of this year, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade has approved 519 applications for holding economic and trade exhibitions abroad, involving 50 exhibition organizers from across the country to participate in or hold exhibitions in 47 countries.
Currently, China is showing a recovering growth trend in overseas trade exhibitions, with the recruitment of most exhibition projects better than expected, and the exhibition area of some projects has doubled.
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will also launch the review of the second batch of applications for overseas exhibitions this year.
In the face of rising exhibition costs during enterprises' participation abroad, difficulties in visa application to some countries and increased uncertainties, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade will conduct investigation and research, communicate and coordinate with the ministries and commissions under the State Council, and release risk warning information to help enterprises reduce risks and uncertainties.
