With rippling blue waves and green mountains, the video "The Most Beautiful Moments of Water Charm in Jiangsu" produced by Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation blends Jiangsu's ecological beauty into a moonlit gate of Jiangnan garden style, bringing visual enjoyment of changing scenes and attracting many natives of Jiangsu living in Beijing.
Lu Lining, who works at the General Office of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, comes from Nantong Jiangsu. He said he was amazed that standing on the top of the Langshan Mountain, people could see the flowing Yangtze River below. Moreover, Nantong has improved the quality of air and water compared with the past.
Over the past decade, Jiangsu has adhered to the principle of ecological priority and green development by including carbon peaking and carbon neutralization into the overall layout of economic and social development, promoting the harmonious coexistence of people and nature, and making solid achievements in building a beautiful Jiangsu.
Wu Chaofan, a Jiangsu student studying at a university in Beijing, said that since the introduction of the Yangtze River fishing ban, the ecological environment of the Yangtze River has recovered to such an extent that some rare fish species have gradually re-emerged.
