Wuxi took multiple measures to increase water supply. The water plants with Taihu Lake as the water source completed the carbon filter replacement and renewal work, further improving the water production and water quality.
Wuxi has put into operation the second-stage advanced treatment project of Xicheng Water Plant with the Yangtze River as the water source. The total water production capacity can reach 2.45 million tons per day, which fully meets the water demand of Wuxi.
