Wu Zhenglong said that in recent years, the province's officials in the work on public complaints and proposals have kept in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions, conscientiously implemented the decision-making arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the work requirements of the provincial party committee, adhered to the front line of resolving conflicts, made extraordinary achievements in ordinary positions and made important contributions to the economic and social development of the province.
He demanded that the province should thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important thoughts on strengthening and improving the work on public complaints and proposals, adhere to seeking progress while maintaining stability, ensure bottom-line thinking and rule of law thinking, and handle public complaints and proposals with strong political responsibility.
The CPC provincial chief demanded that party committees and governments at all levels must comprehensively investigate and resolve various risks and hidden dangers, strive to resolve conflicts and disputes at the grassroots level, effectively safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of the people, resolve prominent problems in petitions, and promote social harmony and stability.
