East China’s Jiangsu province will install 800 thousand charging piles by 2025 to focus on industry, transportation, construction sectors, promote efficient, diversified, interactive, and clean electric energy substitution, and make systematic improvement in energy utilization efficiency, according to "Notice on the Implementation Plan for Further Promoting Electric Energy Substitution" issued by the Provincial Development and Reform Commission and 9 other provincial departments.
By 2025, Jiangsu will create 200 all-electric green factories with its entire 13 prefecture-level cities clearing bulk coal use.
The sales of new energy vehicles will account for more than 30% of the total vehicle sales in the province, and about 800 thousand charging piles of various types will be built across the province.
More than 90% of the dock berths will be built with onshore power facilities and complete standardization transformation. The public buildings invested by the government will be built in strict accordance with the national two-star and above green building standards.
Priority will be given to the implementation of "all-electric kitchens" in 50% of the newly-built catering establishments.
During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Jiangsu will register about 56 billion kWh of electric energy replacement, and electric energy will account for about 35% of the final energy consumption.
