East China’s Jiangsu province and the Agricultural Bank of China signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Wednesday through video link. Governor Xu Kunlin and Chairman of Agricultural Bank of China Gu Shu delivered speeches at the signing ceremony.
Xu Kunlin thanked the Agricultural Bank of China for its long-term strong support for the development of Jiangsu.
He said that since the beginning of this year, under the strong leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, the Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government have resolutely implemented the decisions and deployments of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council, efficiently coordinate epidemic prevention and control and economic and social development, better coordinate development and security, and promote stable and healthy economic and social development.
The signing of this strategic cooperation agreement marks the start of a new round of deep cooperation between Jiangsu and the Agricultural Bank of China.
He hoped that the two sides will use this signing as a new starting point to stabilize the economic fundamentals, promote industrial transformation and upgrading for rural revitalization, digital economy development, green and low-carbon development, prevent and defuse financial risks, and deepen all-round cooperation.
Gu Shu said that the Agricultural Bank of China has maintained a good long-term cooperative relationship with Jiangsu, adding that the bank will take the signing of this agreement as an opportunity to expand financing supply, increase resource investment, make greater efforts to serve the real economy of Jiangsu, and help Jiangsu rural revitalization on a wider scale.
The Agricultural Bank of China will take more measures to support Jiangsu's innovation and development, assist enterprises to deal with, prevent and resolve various risks, make new contributions to the high-quality development of the province, and work together to contribute more to stabilizing economic growth.
