Nanjing Customs has introduced 18 measures since early May to promote the stability and quality of foreign trade in Jiangsu province. Let’s take a close look.
The smooth circulation of the industrial chain and supply chain is related to the production stability and long-term development of foreign trade enterprises. Jiangsu will strengthen the liaison and cooperation with Shanghai Customs to jointly optimize and promote the "joint unloading" supervision mode.
This means that qualified ports in Jiangsu can operate as an extension of Shanghai ports, and enjoy "one declaration, one inspection, and one release", avoiding repeated inspections.
In order to alleviate the logistics pressure in the Yangtze River Delta region under the impact of the epidemic, Jiangsu will also support enterprises to carry out railway "quick customs clearance" business, participate in the implementation of the "Customs Rail Link" cooperation, and improve the level of domestic railway logistics and the facilitation of cross-border transportation of China-Europe trains.
In terms of waterway logistics, the province will support the expansion of the "departure confirmation" pilot, and rely on the integrated cooperation mechanism of the Yangtze River Delta to improve the efficiency of waterway logistics.
Jiangsu will also establish a green channel for the approval, inspection, and customs clearance services for covid-19 vaccines and testing reagents. The time required to approve the export of vaccines and covid-19 detection kits has been shortened to within 24 hours and within 2 working days.
In order to ensure the efficient supply of imported and exported agricultural and food products, Jiangsu will also add a green channel for the inspection of imported and exported fresh, live and perishable agricultural and food products, and implement "priority inspection" for eligible inbound and outbound frozen products, vegetables and fruits.
