Insurance institutions in east China’s Jiangsu province have launched industrial insurance projects with a view to deepening the structural reform of the insurance supply side, further enhancing the ability to serve the real economy, and better facilitating economic development.
Xiache Town, Guanyun County has provided a 5-year insurance for the local high-standard farmland construction project in a bid to further consolidate the high-standard farmland construction achievements and reduce the risk of disaster damage to farmland facilities by introducing an insurance mechanism.
Xiache Town is insured by the industrial insurance launched by Zijin Property Insurance Co., Ltd.
In the past, only agricultural products could be insured, but now all aspects of farmland construction and land transfer can be insured. Industrial insurance integrates the insurance mechanism into the entire industry chain and expands the scope of risk protection.
Zijin Insurance has launched characteristic industry insurance services for nine key industries including rural revitalization, advanced manufacturing and major projects.
Since the beginning of this year, Zijin Insurance has provided 2.4 trillion yuan of risk protection for nine key industries, totaling 280 million yuan in compensation, which has strongly supported the development and expansion of related industries.
