The city of Changzhou has made unrelenting efforts to promote the innovation-oriented pattern of urban development by focusing on the two lakeside innovation zones.
The China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park recently signed 18 key projects, adding vitality to the development of the park.
As a model area of China-Israel innovation partnership, since the beginning of this year, China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park has worked hard to overcome the impact of the epidemic, signed contracts for several investment projects, and conducted technical docking for local intelligent manufacturing, life and health, and modern agricultural industries.
Chen Shunming, Deputy Director of China-Israel Changzhou Innovation Park Management Office said, "We will bring into full play the advantages of the park as an innovation platform in terms of mechanism and resources and introduce more innovation resources and talent resources including Israeli scientific research institutes key laboratories and incubators into the two lakeside innovation zones.
The two lakeside innovation zones in Changzhou are located between Gehu Lake and Changdang Lake that span Wujin District, Jintan District, Zhonglou District and Liyang City in Changzhou, covering an area of about 1,485 square kilometers.
The two lakeside innovation zones have gathered China-Israel and China-Germany innovation platforms as well as new energy companies such as Ideal Auto, China Innovation Aviation, Honeycomb Energy, and Xingxing Charge.
In order to transform the "key variables" of scientific and technological innovation into the "maximum increment" of high-quality development, the two lakeside innovation zones will focus on scientific and technological resources and high-end business, and strive to develop scientific research institutions, experimental research and development, corporate headquarters, financial trade in a bid to attract more young talents to start businesses.
At present, Changzhou has dismantled nearly 50,000 mu of fishery nets in Changdang Lake, cleaned up more than 5,600 abandoned ships along the lake, and cleaned thousands of sewage outfalls in Gehu Lake.
The two lakeside innovation zones will be built into a most striking and recognizable and most beautiful lakeside skyline.
