Shanghai Port Empty Container Center Taicang Port Branch Center is an empty container dispatching base jointly built by Shanghai Port and Taicang Port.
This sub-center will provide sufficient empty containers suitable for ocean-going foreign trade for enterprises in Suzhou and surrounding areas, while taking into account the distribution and transshipment of empty containers in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River.The inauguration of the Taicang Port Branch Center will help Suzhou-based enterprises reduce operational costs.
Taking a 40-foot container as an example, an empty container can save an enterprise nearly 1,000 yuan in operating costs, and at the same time save half of the entire logistics and transportation time.
