At the Qinhuai Sports Center in Nanjing, Ms. Feng, who took her child to learn swimming, got a voucher this time. Originally, it cost 24 yuan to swim for an hour, but after using the vouchers, it only cost 4 yuan.
Sports vouchers have stimulated everyone's enthusiasm for sports. During the Labor Day holiday, the swimming pool of Qinhuai Sports Center received about 300 citizens every day with up to 40% of sports enthusiasts using sports vouchers who are numbered in 100 people.
Nanjing Huashan Hotel has opened a swimming pool, basketball court, table tennis court, tennis court and gymnasium.
Fitness enthusiasts can enjoy multiple discounts. For example, a game of table tennis used to cost 30 yuan per hour. Now the government provides a 30%-40% subsidy, and the price is reduced to 18 yuan per hour. With the use of 20 yuan sports vouchers, citizens can play and exercise here for an hour without spending a penny.
The first round of fitness vouchers issued on April 29 are valid from May 1 to 10. They are mainly reserved for sports venues and are suitable for 18 sports events including swimming, badminton, table tennis, tennis, basketball, and taekwondo.
At 12:00 noon on May 10 and May 20, Nanjing will issue the second and third rounds of fitness vouchers.
