Cao Xun, Pan Shilong, Ma Yuting and Huang Fan from east China’s Jiangsu province were awarded the 26th China Youth May Fourth Medal by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League and the All-China Youth Federation.
The winners include Cao Xun, director, professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Communication Engineering, School of Electronic Science and Engineering, Nanjing University. Pan Shilong, Executive Vice Dean, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor of School of Electronic Information Engineering, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Ma Yuting, assistant to the director of Suzhou Institute of Systems Medicine, director of the immune platform, researcher and doctoral tutor. Huang Fan, Chairman, General Manager and Senior Engineer of Suzhou Jiaoshi Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd.
The four young scientists have achieved outstanding scientific research achievements in the fields of spectral imaging, microwave photons, lymphoma immunity, and laser lighting display by conquering key core technologies, broke international monopoly, supporting national needs and social development and demonstrating the mission of young scientific and technological talents.
