The Yancheng Wetland Rare Birds National Nature Reserve in Yancheng city saw the birth of the first red-crested crane chick this year and it is born through artificial hatching. The live-streamed labor process attracted more than 80,000 netizens.
The crane chick was born on April 22. The nature reserve started this year's red-crowned crane breeding in January. The pair of red-crowned cranes started to give birth to chicks two years ago.
