April 24th marks the Space Day of China. Ye Peijian, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, has devoted more than 50 years to China's aerospace industry. Let’s take a close look.
On the opening day of the Beijing Winter Olympics, a blessing from the orbit of Mars traveled through a long interstellar journey of 320 million kilometers to reach the Earth.
The "Tianwen-1" probe, which is carrying out China's first interplanetary exploration mission, appeared in the same frame as the five-star red flag and the emblems of the Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

and this patrol device is square
This is the concept of Chinese design
The sky is round and the earth is square

Since 1968, Ye Peijian, who is now a leading scientist in deep-space exploration at the China Academy of Space Technology, has participated in the development of China's satellite development, remote sensing observation, lunar and deep space exploration.
He participated in the "Chang'e Project", a moon-exploring mission, explored and advanced from scratch in many blank fields, and successfully completed the three-step of "circling, falling, and returning" for the lunar exploration project.
In the Chang'e-4 lunar exploration operation, Ye Peijian, who is dean of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, insisted on challenging the landing on the far side of the moon and taking the first step for mankind.
Ye Peijian, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences
We have to find a way
to get in front of the world
that is
to let the world know
that we Chinese are capable
of going to the back of the moon
so that we had the world's first login
on the back of the moon
So the deputy director of NASA said
“From now on
we can't say that the Chinese will just follow suit
They have also done things that we haven't done”
In 2019, Ye Peijian was awarded the national honorary title of "People's Scientist".
In recent years, Ye Peijian has paid special attention to the cultivation of aerospace talents and young people who have launched the aerospace system. He has compiled a series of 23 volumes of space technology science, and translated 10 volumes into English for worldwide distribution.
Ji Haiqun, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics
He advocated that scientific research
must aim at the major needs of the country
to plan the development of the college
and cultivate talents
It must also rely on
Jiangsu's advanced scientific and educational resources
absorb the cultural nutrition of Jiangsu
build morality and cultivate talents
for the construction of a strong aerospace country
and cultivate aerospace successors
