East China’s Jiangsu Province registered 82,555 technology contracts last year, a year-on-year increase of 43.79%, ranking second in the country, according to the Provincial Technology Transfer Conference held Thursday in Nanjing.
The province’s technology contract turnover came at 301.356 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 29.02%, ranking third in the country. Jiangsu has made every effort to cultivate a team of technical managers by registering 564 technology transfer institutions and 4438 technical managers. In 2021, the province registered 30.86 million yuan in technology transfer awards and subsidies, which directly stimulated the investment of over 32 million yuan in technology transfer awards and subsidies in various regions, and accelerated the improvement of the province's technology transfer service system.
