He made the remarks Saturday and Sunday when going on an inspection tour in Suzhou, Nantong and Yancheng on the joint prevention and control of the covid-19 epidemic.
Xu Kunlin asked government authorities in Suzhou, Nantong and Yancheng to further enhance their political stance, adhere to the general strategy of preventing inbound cases from overseas and sporadic resurgence at home, ensure dynamic zero case policy so as to make every effort to curb the spread of the epidemic and resolutely protect the health and security of the people.
When visiting railway stations, highway toll gates, farm markets, economic development zones and local enterprises, the governor required specific efforts to combine key screening and regional screening and carry out high-quality and efficient nucleic acid testing by connecting seamlessly nucleic acid sampling and testing, race against time to speed up the epidemiological investigation and traceability, increase the push of relevant information, and expand the scope of key personnel screening to ensure that tracking and control is in place.
He also demanded all-out efforts to treat patients, strengthen the prevention and control of hospital infection, respond to people's concerns, meet people's needs for basic living, medical treatment and purchase of medicines, ensure material reserves and stable prices, and resolutely win the battle of epidemic prevention and control.
When presiding over symposiums in Suzhou, Nantong and Yancheng , Xu Kunlin demanded the improvement of emergency response capabilities, the provision of sufficient anti-epidemic personnel and anti-epidemic supplies, the readiness of the prevention and control command system, and the accountability of various prevention and control measures.
