He also demanded all-out efforts to treat patients, strengthen the prevention and control of hospital infection, respond to people's concerns, meet people's needs for basic living, medical treatment and purchase of medicines, ensure material reserves and stable prices, and resolutely win the battle of epidemic prevention and control.
When presiding over a symposium at the Changzhou Municipal Headquarters for the Prevention and Control of Novel Coronavirus Epidemic, Xu Kunlin demanded the improvement of emergency response capabilities, the provision of sufficient anti-epidemic personnel and anti-epidemic supplies, the readiness of the prevention and control command system, and the accountability of various prevention and control measures.
